Cafeteria Worker - 3 Hour Position

General Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to established recipe, serve, and clean-up work area
• Keep proper records as instructed including but not limited to: Production Records, Temperature Logs, and Cash Reports
• Understand what is inclusive of a reimbursable meal
• Ensure storage of food in a proper and sanitary manner
• Assist in cleaning kitchen and storage areas
• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure
• Adhere to all HACCP regulations for sanitation, food handling, and storage
• Be able to work well with others
• Perform duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager or Food Service Director

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift cases up to 40 pounds and carry them from storage areas to work areas
• Standing for a long period of time, reaching, crouching,
• Must be able to handle variations of temperatures, working in cold or hot environments

Qualifications:

• Current ServSafe Certificate preferred
• Foodservice Experience preferred
• School Foodservice preferred
