Job Summary

Summary: THE CONCESSIONS CASHIER PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN DELIVERING AN EXCEPTIONAL GUEST EXPERIENCE DURING GAMES, CONCERTS, AND SPECIAL EVENTS AT THE DELTA CENTER. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING STAND OPERATIONS, ENSURING HIGH-QUALITY FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE, AND SUPPORTING A CLEAN, SAFE, AND GUEST-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.

+ Enters all sales into the POS system to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.

+ Accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment, issues receipts to customers.

+ Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

+ Responsible for all payment receipts & ensuring that stand inventory is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.

+ Observes customer purchases in line and differntiates between standard portions.

+ Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general suuplies while maintaining cleanliness of serivce areas.

+ Keeps grab & go areas, fridges & Freezers stocked throughout service.

+ Ensures compliance with Levy service standards, inventory and payment control procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

+ Food handling experience preferred but not required.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

+ Must be able to work felixible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.

+ Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

+ Familiarity with food safety standards and POS systems.

+ Must be at least 16 years old.

+ Must obtain a valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.
