Under the supervision of the Food Service Manager, performs a variety of tasks, such as sweeping & washing floors. Keeping refrigerators, freezers and storeroom clean and neat. Daily cleaning of ranges, carts, pots, pans, and all other food service equipment. Will work in dishwashing unit and in the food service unit. Performs food preparation tasks as assigned by the Food Service Manager. Assists in tray service, portioning and cold foods, condiments, serving containers, dishes, silver and whatever is appropriate for the menus to be served. Will work on diet trays. Is responsible for the cleanliness of work areas and safe and sanitary handling of food, equipment, and supplies.

Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Variable shift, 40 hours per week. Located onsite at St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, AK!

Required Qualifications:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kitchen experience, preferably healthcare related.
