Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country American Viticultural Area, Solaro is committed to crafting high-quality Texas wines that reflect our terroir, and we take pride in our dedication to sustainability and responsible vineyard stewardship. This role blends Texas agriculture with hospitality, and is ideal for someone who enjoys wine, working with people, and being part of a dynamic and growing industry. What We're Looking For We are looking for individuals who are: Outgoing and professional, with a warm and welcoming attitude Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented Passionate about wine, customer service, and creating memorable guest experiences Able to take pride in their work and represent Solaro's values of quality, sustainability, and Texas pride Key Responsibilities Guide guests through wine tastings, sharing Solaro's story, vineyard practices, and winemaking approach Educate guests about Texas wines, our sustainability initiatives, and the uniqueness of our estate Assist with wine sales and club memberships; upsell where appropriate Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and outdoor service areas Open and close Tasting Room and assist in special events and private tastings Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately Restock wine, merchandise, and supplies as needed Help ensure guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish Preferred Qualifications Prior hospitality or customer service experience (wine experience is a plus but not required) Basic knowledge of wine and a willingness to learn more Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Availability on weekends and holidays is required Perks Hourly wage + tips + commission on wine club sign ups Opportunity for growth in a prestigious and growing winery Work in a stunning vineyard setting Staff discounts on wine and merchandise If you're excited about Texas wines, hospitality, and working in a sustainable vineyard operation, we'd love to meet you!
