A beautiful local resort in Whitefish, Montana, is currently seeking a professional and personable Valet to join its guest services team. With upscale accommodations and a commitment to exceptional service, this resort offers a convenient and inviting location just minutes from local dining, outdoor recreation, and some of the region's most iconic destinations. Whether our guests are looking for adventure, relaxation, or both, they can enjoy an experience that blends comfort, style, and authentic hospitality.
Serve as the welcoming face for all arriving and departing guests by providing a warm, enthusiastic greeting and creating a positive first impression. Greet each guest promptly using friendly, professional language, and consistently deliver service with a smile to ensure a memorable experience from start to finish.
Wage: $13/hour + Tips
Schedule: Full-time
Essential Functions and Duties:
Provide five-star guest service by greeting, escorting, assisting with baggage, and accommodating special requests during arrivals and departures
Perform valet duties as needed, including running, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
Create a welcoming atmosphere through friendly conversation, professional demeanor, and teamwork with hotel staff
Maintain in-depth knowledge of hotel room types, amenities, services, and local attractions to offer accurate recommendations and directions
Demonstrate strong communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal interaction, and appropriate written communication with guests and team members
Stay service-oriented by proactively identifying guest needs and looking for ways to enhance their experience
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality preferred
Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills with staff, management, ownership, and guests; demonstrates professionalism and accountability in all interactions
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities; supports a positive team environment and actively contributes to guest satisfaction
Ability to promote hotel services through suggestive selling techniques while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards
Proficient in using office equipment and software systems; capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently and meeting productivity goals
Maintains a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and can operate a manual transmission; prioritizes safety and responsibility
High School diploma or equivalent
