Accredited Chef Laurent Tourondel is bringing his culinary expertise to Philadelphia with his new pizzeria restaurant concept Scusi Pizza, opening soon in The Piazza of Northern Liberties.
We are a group of passionate hospitality professionals with a profound sense of culinary pride and passion for service. We are looking for talented restaurant team to be apart of our opening. We require honest, hardworking professionals that manage and mentor others with respect, empathy, and dignity. Experience with previous restaurant openings is not required, but experience experience running food is always a plus !
Your job is to work with your fellow team members to provide a professionally curated dining experience for every guest at Scusi Pizza. Everything you do within the restaurant is done with mindfulness and efficiency. As a food runner, you have the job of providing safe and timely execution and delivery of food items from the kitchen to guest tables. This role is the building block for connection between the back and the front of house for Scusi Pizza.
Primary Duties:
To properly expedite all guest checks, ensure that the correct food items are delivered to the guest as expected. To be an ambassador for the kitchen and to present the menu with proper food safety and knowledge of how each dish is intended to be displayed.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Deliver and properly describe each dish eloquently and efficiently to all guests
- Provide support to all of the service team
- Possess an understanding of the flow of kitchen, and knowledge of all menu items, their ingredients, and any corresponding allergies associated with the items
- Ensure a sanitary and clean working environment, and assist with organization
- Provide a clean and accessible dining room for all guests
- Clear and reset tables upon guest departure
Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience) plus tips
