T ouchmark at The Ranch is currently looking for an experienced, dynamic, results-driven, and service-oriented Dining Room Manager at our senior living resort community.

As the Dining Room Manager, you will work closely with the Executive Chef and dining team to ensure each resident and guest's needs are being met, each day. You will have the continual chance to positively impact lives by ensuring that every Touchmark resident and guest always has an exceptional dining experience.You will hire, lead, mentor, train and develop our team of dining room staff, teaching them proper dining room etiquette and steps of service, meal handling procedures, and customer service skills so that every experience in our dining room meets and exceeds the Touchmark Gold Standard. You will also be responsible for scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.

• Have a strong understanding of dining operations
• Be well-versed with training and scheduling team members
• Possess the knowledge and/or ability to follow State and Federal regulations to meet all requirements and residents' rights
• Be willing to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events as needed; have a flexible schedule
• Have a thorough understanding of what hospitality means and how to provide exceptional service with care and compassion

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage scheduling for the server team
• Supervising dining rooms during meal service
• Assist in managing dining staff to achieve customer service and financial goals of dining department
• Help create a positive work environment in order to maintain low staff turnover
• Assist in coordinating front of house staff to create a seamless flow
• Be responsible for training and development of new wait staff
• Provide appropriate coaching and counseling to employees so they can perform job duties effectively
• Support the needs of the dining department
