OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Beach Ave Bar and Grill is looking for a Host to assist in front door operations. This role consists of greeting, seating and waitlist management for our guests. This position will also be responsible for clearing tables as well as overall cleanliness of the restaurant. The Host at Beach Ave will provide a warm, genuine greeting and excellent communication with our guests with the intention of setting up a five-star experience for our patrons. We will provide ample support and clear expectations for this role ongoing. The Host is a very integral role within the restaurant and is a great place to start before working towards other roles on the team. Previous Host experience is an asset however, not required.

We are an independent local company that loves hospitality. We are located right on the seawall with beautiful views of False Creek and Granville Island. Our approach to service is genuine, personable, knowledgeable and prompt. Our food program consists of west coast inspired casual fare with all recipes created and executed in house. Our bar pours an excellent selection of local craft beer and wine as well as mixing up original cocktails.
