Palm Court Attendants are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. Palm Court Attendants will engage in casual conversation and create the Palm Court experience by their style and service attributes. Other duties include general outlet preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Ensure that side work responsibilities and assignments are carried out in accordance to F&B standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that all products and services are offered by ensuring that an attendant is at Palm Court at all times.
  • Arrive to work on time, dressed in full uniform and wearing name tag.
  • Anticipates and serves guest requirements before requests are necessary.
  • Provide for guests a comfortable, warm atmosphere by consistently delivering the highest quality products and services through thorough product knowledge by friendly, smiling and caring employees.
  • Maintains supplies necessary for the team to provide the best service possible.
  • Maintains a neat and organized station, and work area.
  • Completes the opening and closing side work as assigned.
  • Advise manager of any complaints so they can be rectified immediately.
  • Work as a part of a multi-unit team displayed through your cooperation, flexibility and attitude.
  • Ensures that the floors are swept or vacuumed and free of dirt and debris.

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal communication skills.
  • Previous full-service restaurant experience preferred
  • Experience using POS systems
  • Barista and food-handling experience required, (hospitality & fine dining preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of coffee, tea and smoothies.
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
