HERFF JONES, Warehouse Custodian - Arcola, IL

Starting Pay - $17.00 per hour

YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

The Cap & Gown division is looking for a custodian to join our operations team. This position would ensure the building premises and facilities are tidy, clean, and well-maintained.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks based on schedule, including but not limited to floor care and trash removal.
• Ensure the premises are tidy, clean, and well-maintained.
• Work independently and as a team to complete cleaning tasks.
• Breaking down cardboard boxes to maintain clean aisle ways.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience with custodial duties, trash compactor experience preferred.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and move throughout production areas for extended periods (up to 10-12-hour shifts).
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and twisting.
• Regular use of hands and arms to push and pull; reaching overhead.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds.
