The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and cash transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety practices and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow team members. Duties Greet and welcome customers as they arrive, providing menus and answering any initial questions. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Utilize POS system for order entry and payment processing. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
