Head of Housekeeping

Help Wanted: Head of Housekeeping 65-Unit Motel

We are currently seeking a dependable, experienced, and detail-oriented Head of Housekeeping to lead our housekeeping team at our 65-unit motel in Meriden, CT. This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff
Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to high standards
Inspect rooms and common areas for cleanliness and maintenance issues
Train, schedule, and support housekeeping team members
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
Cross train to work at front desk part time throughout the week
Assist with property management duties, including but not limited to, collecting rents and taking calls
Collaborate with front desk and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping experience required; leadership/supervisory experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lead by example and motivate a team
Reliable, professional, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Bilingual a plus, but not required
