Currently seeking team members who are passionate about building lasting vacation memories for owners/guests visiting our resort properties! We are looking for a Part-Time Bartender to join our team at Christmas Mountain Village.

As a Bartender at Christmas Mountain Village, you will be responsible for executing the position's responsibilities and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

What will I be doing?

  • Serves food and beverages to members, owners, and guests; anticipating their needs and responding promptly to any and all requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Immediately greets and acknowledges all arriving members, owners, and guests in a friendly and welcoming manner in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Operates cash register and/or Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Adheres to all cash handling guidelines as set forth by the Company.
  • Responsible for all alcohol and supplies in bar and cash bank accountability.
  • Maintains positive guest relations through good communication skills, proper demeanor, correct body language and eye contact, to ensure customer happiness and enhance the overall culinary experience.
  • Extends a courteous and friendly departure to all members, owners, and guests; thanking them for dining with us and inviting them back again, with a genuine and professional demeanor.
  • Clears and resets tables, as needed.
  • Completes all closing side work, inspecting for cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all work areas and of the outlet itself.
  • Takes ownership of any guest problems and resolve them according to departmental guidelines.
  • Maintains complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation and proper table set-up.

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience bartending.

License & certifications

  • 1+ Years of related experience
  • Food Safety Certification must be state/county-specific.
  • Alcohol Awareness Training Certification must be state/county-specific.

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Must be of legal age to sell alcohol.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Cash handling skills (the ability to count currency, make and count back change).
