Full Job Description
Up to 30 hours per week, must work weekends. This highly self-motivated, professional individual will be responsible in performing various duties as a front desk agent in the hotel lobby and dealing with all guest interactions.
Essential Functions:
- Meet and greet individuals entering the lobby.
- Handle incoming calls for reservations and guest questions.
- Complete guest check-in software, paperwork and explain hotel policies.
- Must be able to enforce hotel policies and handle guest confrontation in a calm manner.
- Order office and hotel housekeeping supplies.
- Assign and track all parking passes.
- Prepare maintenance work orders.
- Maintain guest information within Excel spreadsheets.
- Reconcile credit card charges.
- High level of skill in internet search for products and price evaluation.
- Understand hotel services, and other information about the hotel.
- Assist with all day-to-day operations of the hotel.
- Always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Must be a reliable employee.
- Capable of managing workload and prioritizing tasks.
- Handle guest disputes in a professional manner.
- High level of skill in working with various computer software including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with co-workers and hotel guests.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with company and personnel information.
- Integrity and honesty are essential due to responsibility for handling company funds.
- Must have a valid ID and reliable personal transportation.
