Breakfast / Pastry Cook - Bistro @ The Majestic

We seek an experienced Breakfast/Pastry cook to join our Majestic team in Anacortes, WA. This position is for the early bird that wants to showcase their culinary skills and have the afternoons/evenings free. The ideal candidate collaborates with and takes direction well from the Head Chef. This position demands punctuality. As the breakfast cook you work most days alone in the kitchen.

The typical work schedule is 6am, however, that may change to 5:30 am once the pasty program is fully implemented.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items by company standards and exceed guest expectations.
Assist in controlling food costs by avoiding food waste
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Stay productive on prep and baking for the Endiro Cafe pastry program
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Food handler's permit or certification
