The Dayton School District is seeking a dedicated and dependable Custodian to join our team. This is a full-time, evening shift position (8 hours/day) supporting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and community members across district facilities.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be able to lift, carry, and move moderate to heavy objects

Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

Compensation:The Dayton Classified Collective Bargaining Agreement outlines an annual eleven-step classified salary schedule ranging from $18.85 - $27.89 per hour. Please refer to the salary schedule on the District website.Experience credit is available for new employees with prior experience in the same classification.
