Location: Westborough / Weymouth MA

Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional weekends

Pay Rate: 17.00 - 19.50

Hours: Full time

Pay Frequency: Weekly - Direct Deposit

Housekeeping Team Leader Job Summary:

The Housekeeping team leader cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Essential Functions and Key Tasks:

  • Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and XENDELLA regulations

  • Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others

  • Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment

  • Cleans assigned areas to XENDELLA and client standards and requirements

  • Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas

  • Reports on maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel

  • Secures the facility, ensuring buildings are locked/unlocked as required

  • Ensures security of company/client assets

  • Help assign tasks and support housekeeping team members

  • Train and guide new employees

  • Monitor quality and ensure all tasks are completed correctly

  • Report any issues or supply needs to your manager

  • Set the example for the team with professional behavior, work ethic, and attention to detail

  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff and supervisors

  • Assist with schedules and last-minute coverage when needed

  • Other duties and tasks assigned by manager

Qualifications:

  • Dependable and excellent customer service skills

  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling

  • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

  • Comfortable cleaning every day while also helping lead a team

  • Positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility

  • Knowledge of safety, infection control, and cleaning procedures

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully

  • At least 1-2 years of cleaning experience (healthcare preferred) is a plus

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or Portuguese) is a plus
