Pantry Cook

The Pantry Cook is responsible for supporting the food and beverage department by preparing food prior to the cooking stage as well as efficiently preparing and cooking additional menu items as directed to include making salads. Provides internal guest service by effectively communicating with co-workers; assists with separating of deliveries and storing items in proper areas. Performs additional job related duties as assigned by the department manager. Starting wage is $18.80/hr and increases to the standard $20.00/hr at successful completion of a 90-day orientation period.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Experience & Requirements:

• Must have six months restaurant experience
• Have the knowledge and ability to prepare foods such as salads and platters quickly and efficiently
• Must be organized, have efficient work habits, and be able to follow health standards
• Must have valid Washington State food handler's card

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
• The ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
