Housekeeper

SUMMARY

Under the immediate supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning common areas, disposing trash, notifying maintenance of any issues and maintaining the establishment in a clean and orderly condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained, such as restrooms, laundry rooms, showers, etc.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notify managers of necessary repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Assist guests or residents when necessary.
• Keep the supply room stocked.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well unsupervised.
• Knowledge of motor-driven cleaning equipment, i.e. buffers, carpet cleaners etc.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work under hot or cold weather conditions.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests or residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current valid Arizona Driver's License

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 2-year work experience in related field
