Position Summary/ Department Summary:
A hospitality professional who is responsible for ensuring families/guests have an excellent experience from check-in to check-out. The primary responsibilities of Guest Services Concierge include greeting guests, checking them in, providing a tour of the building, checking meal/activity calendars and updating as needed, making signs for house activities, coordinating volunteer activities, coordinating house activities with Resident Staff and Program Manager. To succeed in this role, a Guest Services Concierge must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as positive attitude and strong work ethic. They must be able to multitask, work well under pressure, and be knowledgeable about the local area to assist guests with recommendations for restaurants and attractions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests upon their arrival and providing them with necessary information about the program and building location
  • Respond to inquiries in an attentive manner
  • Manage check-ins- ensure paperwork is prepared with keys to guest room or apartment
  • Provide tour of building, amenities, meal/activity calendars, Broadway Sam complimentary tickets and attractions in the surrounding area
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure families are provided with a smooth and positive experience
  • Monitoring inventory and supplies needed for program activities such as meals and groups
  • Collaborating with volunteer groups around activities in the program
  • Assist with guest rooms/apartment checks to ensure readiness for family checking in.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Associate degree required, bachelors degree preferred

Experience:
  • Customer service experience- preferred
  • Hotel concierge experience- preferred
Schedule:
Tues-Fri 12 PM - 8:30 PM- 32 hours/week.
