The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all associates adhere to service standards, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests. This role involves assisting the Restaurant manager in various operational tasks and stepping in to manage the restaurant in the absence of the manager. This position emphasizes teamwork, guest service, and adherence to company policies and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all associates adhere to service standards.
- Check restaurant for cleanliness and setup.
- Assist Restaurant Manager in all phases of restaurant operations.
- Take complete responsibility for restaurant operations in the absence of the manager.
- Supervise service of guests and respond to their needs.
- Establish and monitor side work duty completion with the manager.
- Review communication from the previous shift and ensure proper coverage for the floor.
- Ensure the restaurant is spotless and ready for service.
- Follow all rules, laws, and policies regarding liquor requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid ServSafe certification preferred.
- Certified Food Handler certification required.
- Valid Liquor License
- Experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong proven leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to maintain high service standards and cleanliness.
