Job Details Pizzeria da Laura is expanding and we are looking for experienced pizza makers but more than anything a willingness to learn new techniques. The hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday 1pm-8pm and Friday and Saturday 1pm-9pm The job requires some prep work as well as line work.DAILY
- Understand the quality and expectations of our establishment
- basic knife skills
- Prioritize daily work schedules with fellow Line Cooks while also delegating appropriate work to Prep Cook and Externs; provide assistance as appropriate to gain greater efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment. Keep all areas clean and organized at all times.
- Collaborate when appropriate in menu changes, including specials/seasonal offerings.
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards of the property.
- Work in tandem with the team to ensure standards are met or exceeded, as it relates to appearance of the facilities, sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring your team members to assist them in achieving their professional goals.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
- Assure all necessary items are in the restaurant at the start of the shift. Communicate any needs in an appropriate time frame, ensuring all ingredients represent our quality and are in line with the standards established by the Chef. Communicate any discrepancies
- All other duties as assigned.
