Job Title: Concierge/Hospitality Specialist
Work Location: Multiple locations throughout Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Duration: Long-term contract with option to hire
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Need to be flexible to work earlier and later depending on the site.
Education/Experience Required: High school or equivalent
Job Description & Responsibilities :
- This position will include greeting and checking in visitors, working at the reception desk, monitoring incoming facilities requests, processing meeting bookings and heavy on coordinating catering orders.
- The position may also include mail and/or administrative responsibilities.
- The hiring managers prefer to receive candidates with legal experience.
- Long periods of standing and walking will be required, the role does not take place entirely at the reception desk.
- The position also may require lifting but nothing extensive, must be able to lift 25 lbs. and assistance is available.
- We are looking for an outgoing candidate, preferably with hospitality background, opportunity to become permanent.
- Dress Code: Business Casual
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Due to the sites that they will be supporting, they must understand the great responsibility of and requirements of this position, to include:
- Professional demeanor / business acumen (adhering to dress codes at multiple sites)
- Previous experience working in an office / corporate setting is needed
- Adherence to time / attendance requirements
- Clean, neat, and professional appearance & hygiene (piercings, tattoos, etc. may need to be covered)
- Excellent customer service skills / expertise is a requirement
- Experience in legal settings is a plus
- Experience in admin., reception, hospitality, etc.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office Suite & Tools (Spreadsheets, Word Docs, TEAM's, etc.), PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to adapt and accept daily changes, maintaining professionalism and a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work well with team and management
- Ability to take instruction & constructive feedback
- Learning/training requirements (some classes/trainings may be required)
- This position may require walking, standing, sitting, lifting, and equipment usage as various locations.
