Frankie, an Australian restaurant and bar located two blocks from the Grove St Path in downtown Jersey, is looking for talented barteneders!
Frankie specializes in modern Australian food and low intervention wines. We use a wide variety of produce from both land and sea. The position is perfect for personable and engaging bartenders that want to learn about new food and wine and contribute to the team on a daily basis.
The scope of work will include but is not limited to.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and guiding guests during their visit to the restaurant
- Being articulate and hospitable to guests and staff while in the restaurant
- Describe food and wine menu to the guests and new employees
- Carrying out daily opening and closing procedures
- Keeping informed about menu changes and events happening in the restaurant
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and bar equipment
- Ability to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customer expectations
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience as a bartender in a fast paced work environment
- Basic knowledge of food, wine and spirits
- Good attitude towards working in a busy team environment
- Have a genuine interest in food and wine
