Receptionist

Receptionist
Multiple worksites across Miami and Ft. Lauderdale (parking provided)
Contract Position (with potential to go permanent)

Core Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in visitors at reception.
  • Work at the front desk and rotate across multiple office locations.
  • Monitor incoming facilities requests and ensure timely responses.
  • Manage and process meeting room bookings.
  • Coordinate and place catering orders for meetings and events (a key part of the role).
  • May assist with mail handling and general administrative tasks.
  • Participate in various site operations including occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs; assistance provided).
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor across multiple sites.

Preferred Experience:
  • Legal industry background strongly preferred.
  • Hospitality experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience in corporate office environments or Headquarters settings.
  • Familiarity with administrative, reception, or customer-facing roles.

Key Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills this is a must.
  • Must be comfortable with standing and walking for long periods.
  • Ability to travel between sites in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale (reliable transportation needed).
  • High level of professionalism:
    • Adheres to business dress codes.
    • Clean, neat, and professional appearance (visible piercings/tattoos may need to be covered).
    • Punctual and dependable in attendance.
  • Able to adapt quickly to daily changes while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Comfortable working both independently and in team settings.
  • Willingness to take direction and constructive feedback positively.
  • May be required to attend training sessions or classes.

Software & Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
    • Outlook, Word, Excel (spreadsheets)
    • Teams
    • PowerPoint
  • Basic experience with audio-visual equipment is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 13 years of relevant experience in office or hospitality roles.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
