We are seeking a confident receptionist to manage the front desk of our busy firm. Our law firm focuses primarily on Commercial and Construction Litigation. The ideal candidate for this position is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, is exceptionally organized and detailed oriented, and offers top-notch customer service. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented, close-knit team in a friendly setting. 5+ years of experience in a similar position is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing people to the appropriate person or department.
Managing calendars, scheduling appointments and organizing files.
Handling incoming and outgoing mail, faxes and emails.
Maintaining the reception area, maintaining the office kitchenettes, ordering office supplies, organizing CPD lunches and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
Assisting legal staff with document preparation, research or other tasks as needed.
Assisting with client packages.
Handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Required Skills

Excellent communication skills: verbal and written communication are essential for interacting with clients and colleagues.
Strong Organization Skills: managing multiple tasks, files and schedules effectively.
Customer Service Focus: providing a positive and helpful experience for everyone who contacts the firm.
Proficiency with Office Technology: using phone systems, computers, copiers, and other office equipment.
Attention to Detail: ensuring accuracy in all tasks, including data entry and file management.
