This non-exempt position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through telephone, email, and in-person interactions. This position uses recreation software to make reservations, sell tickets, register guests for recreation programs and make facility reservations. Attendants will be required to assist with special events, including birthdays and weddings, and other Adventure Park activities, both indoor and outdoor operations.

Desired start date: 11/20/2025 & estimated end-of-season date: 4/5/2026
Guest Service staff typically are scheduled Thursday - Monday between 8:00AM - 6:30PM. Opportunities may be available for 9AM-5PM shifts on Tuesday/Wednesday. Responsibilities
  • Provides exceptional guest service to all Adventure Park guests by giving appropriate information, directions and conducts all transactions with a smile, eye contact and clear communication.
  • Utilizes a variety of software to assist guests. Makes reservations and conducts various sale transactions.
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding all Adventure Park and Recreation and Cultural Department programs, facilities and services.
  • Answers repetitive questions, scenarios and tasks with professionalism, politeness and courtesy both in person and on the phone. Might be on the phone up to 8 hours making reservations.
  • Creates and redeems reservations for all Adventure Park and Recreation and Cultural programs.
  • Utilizes sales techniques to sell retail merchandise food and beverage.
  • Informs guests of Adventure Park safety practices, operating rules and regulations and help to enforce these rules as necessary.
  • Interacts with and maintains professional attitudes and relationships with guests, co-workers and management in a positive, professional manner at all times using appropriate language and conversations.
  • Communicates as appropriate with other staff and supervisor about concerns or when assistance is needed.
  • Utilizes appropriate cash handling procedures.
  • Produces neat, organized and accurate closing reports.
  • Ensures the Day Lodge facility indoor and outdoor is clean, well-maintained, items are stocked and well display, and presentable to guests.
  • Assists with opening and closing procedures including but not limited to counting till, locking and unlocking building, facility cleaning, trash removal, vacuuming, and sweeping.
  • Communicates in a timely and professional manner with citizens, visitors, and Town of Frisco staff.
  • Adheres to all Town of Frisco and Recreation and Cultural Department policies and procedures; including but not limited to safety, accounting, and maintaining grooming and uniform standards.
  • Works in a team-based environment supporting the Adventure Park and Recreation and Cultural Department, the Town of Frisco, and the initiatives of the Director and Managers.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Adheres to Town of Frisco policies, competencies, standards, and regulations including but not limited to proper attire, safety procedures, and overall professionalism

Ability to function and make good decisions in the absence of a supervisor.

Communicates with Town of Frisco employees, citizens, customers and vendors in a professional, courteous and timely manner both verbally and in writing.

Performs other job duties/responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education:

  • GED or High School Diploma- preferred

Computer Operations:

  • Microsoft Word and Excel - preferred
  • POS and booking systems - preferred

Licenses, Certifications or Accreditations:

  • Valid Colorado Driver's License - preferred
  • CPR/AED & First Aid Certification (Provided by the Town)

Previous Work Experience:

  • 1 year of guest service- required

Language Ability:

  • Must be able to communicate verbally and written in English - required

Decision Making Ability:

  • Ability to function independently and make sound and reasonable decisions in the absence of supervisory guidance- required

Other:

  • Must be able to multitask in a high pace environment - required
  • 1 year experience handling cash - preferred
  • 1 year experience with retail and food/beverage operations - preferred

Required to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays between the hours of 8:00am and 9:00pm.

This position also requires speaking with guests in a crowded, noisy environment from behind a counter.
