The Role:

We're looking for a Cook 2 to bring their culinary skills, hustle, and personality into the kitchen to help us serve vibrant, feel-good food every day. As a Cook 2, you're a vital part of our back-of-house operation, responsible for executing dishes with precision, speed, and attention to quality. You'll work on the line, assist with prep and station setup, and help ensure the consistency and presentation of every plate leaving the kitchen. You'll also support a clean and organized environment in line with health and safety standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

  • Execute meal service efficiently and with care

  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team

  • Prepare ingredients and recipes as directed by the Sous Chef and Executive Chef

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and the kitchen overall

  • Follow sanitation and safety procedures, including proper food handling and storage

  • Label, date, and rotate food items using FIFO methods

  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with the team during service

  • Support various culinary outlets when needed.

  • Support teammates during peak periods and step in where needed

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least two years of related culinary experience

  • Strong working knowledge of cooking temps, sauces, soups, and a la carte plating

  • Advanced knife and sanitation skills, and the ability to sharpen knives properly

  • Ability to operate common kitchen equipment with confidence

  • Able to organize assigned work area and efficiently put away orders

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions

  • Calm, focused, and reliable in fast-paced or high-pressure situations

  • Fluent command of English required

  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

  • Positive, professional, and collaborative attitude

  • Great interpersonal and customer service skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day

  • Able to bend, kneel, stretch, crouch, and occasionally climb

  • Must be able to pull, push, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands

  • Comfortable working around hot and cold temperature extremes

  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly to communicate with team members
