QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from High School or possession of a GED.
- Some experience in food service.
- Thorough knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements for handling food and operating equipment.
- Substantial knowledge of meal preparation systems.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Performs a limited number of basic food service functions in a school kitchen and cafeteria.
- The principal function of an employee in this class is to serve school meals to school students and faculty and perform general food preparation and kitchen cleanup operations.
- Communicates and coordinates regularly with appropriate others to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of interdepartmental operation and activities.
SCHEDULE:
School Term Only, hours per week varies
SALARY RANGE:
$15.00/per hour
