Catering Attendant Job Description As a Catering Attendant, you will be responsible for assembling and delivering all food and supplies for catered events to their designated locations. You will log and maintain food temperatures during events and arrange tables and decorations according to standards. Your role includes setting up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items, serving food and beverages to guests during events, and thoroughly cleaning the event location after the function. Additionally, you will transport food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils back to the catering facility and distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. You are also responsible for stocking, cleaning, and maintaining the catering facility and equipment, ensuring guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times, and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and available products. Keeping a clean and safe work environment and following safety and sanitation policies and procedures consistently is essential. Responsibilities Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered events. Log and maintain food temperatures during events. Arrange tables and decorations according to standards. Set up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items. Serve food and beverages to guests during events. Clean the event location thoroughly after the event. Transport food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to and from the catering facility. Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment. Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and available products. Keep a clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures consistently.
