Job Details We are looking for an eager Bartender to join our Wonderful team. The ideal candidate will be a trained professional that understands how to effectively expedite and serve all of our guests needs.He or she will have a passion for food and beverage equally, and understands how to read a guest properly to ensure quality service, leaving a lasting impression and memorable experience.MAIN DUTIES:
- To maintain a professional and friendly demeanour at all times
- To practice and promote teamwork by assisting your fellow bartenders, back servers, and all other colleagues whenever necessary.
- Enter drink orders correctly and rapidly into the Micros POS
- Responsibility for individual bank and accuracy
- Exceptional upselling techniques
- To ensure all allergy procedures are followed at all times
- To deliver food and beverages to guests in an efficient and professional manner
- To carry out daily side work duties without exception
- To have a full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations
- To report any guest complaints immediately to the Manager/ Supervisor
- To have comprehensive knowledge of the menu and wine list
- To take personal responsibility for punctuality
- Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times
- Ensure high level of communication between the restaurant and other departments of the hotel
- To promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants
REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive knowledge of wines and high end spirts
Knowledge of Micros POS System
Highly organized
Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, week days, weekends and holidays
To have a full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations
