Job Overview: As a Guest Services Host at SEVEN, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. You will be the first point of contact, responsible for greeting patrons, managing waitlists, and ensuring a seamless service flow during service.

Responsibilities:
Guest Engagement:

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Provide information about our bourbon selection and guide guests through the tasting experience.

Reservation Management:

  • Effectively manage reservations/waitlists, ensuring accurate scheduling and timely communication with guests.
  • Maintain an organized system for tracking and confirming reservations.

Service Coordination:

  • Collaborate with bartenders and management to ensure smooth service.
  • Assist in coordinating private tastings, corporate events, and special occasions.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Anticipate and address guest needs promptly to ensure a memorable and positive experience.
  • Seek feedback and actively work towards continuous improvement in service quality.

Upselling and Promotion:

  • Encourage guests to explore different menu items and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Promote special events to enhance guest engagement.

Maintaining Ambiance:

  • Ensure the bar area is clean, well-presented, and maintains the desired upscale ambiance.
  • Collaborate with the bar staff to create an aesthetically pleasing and inviting environment.
  • Wipe down bathrooms, stock toilet paper and paper towels, and pick up trash.
  • Clean and reset tables. Clean front door and windows.
  • Put ice in plants on the front facade.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a high-end bar or upscale hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Ability to bend at the waist.
  • Ability to kneel, squat, twist, and reach above shoulder.
  • Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes, up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull 10-25 lbs.
  • Ability to perform cleaning functions, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
