Description:
The Spring Lake Golf Club in Spring Lake, New Jersey is excited to announce the career opportunity of a part-time Hostess for our property. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

We are looking for an individual who has a strong work ethic and enthusiasm to learn. We also require that the candidate has a positive attitude and the willingness to put in the time to learn. Candidates must always display a professional attitude towards members and employees. At Spring Lake Golf Club, we assure that our program will be a learning experience for the individual and will teach all possible jobs relating to Food and Beverage and Special Events.

Key Responsibilities of the Hostess:
Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon arrival.
Ability to greet members and guests in a professional, friendly and welcoming manner.
Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items for to go orders.
Ability to memorize table and seat numbers.
Adjust table settings, flip tables and move furniture to accommodate for reservations and walk ins.
Walk members and guests to tables.
Work with lead hostess and/or management to manage the flow of service.
Maintains organized workstation and side work duties.
Knowledge in our point of sales system as well as our daily operations.
Follows established systems for answering phones and making reservations.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Server:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Regular and reliable attendance
Flexible Schedule
Ability to be active and on your feet for 6-7+ hours
