This hands-on position works directly under the estate manager and collaborates closely with the broader facilities team. The ideal candidate is skilled in general repairs, proactive, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Take daily direction and project assignments from the Senior Caretaker . Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing and electrical issues efficiently. Execute daily repair tasks and property maintenance duties. Assist with carpentry projects and general upkeep of estate facilities. Safely operate hand and power tools in accordance with safety standards. Report and escalate any maintenance issues to the Senior Caretaker or Director of Facilities with a sense of urgency. Nice to Have: Ability to assist with boat maintenance, scheduling, and captain responsibilities during the boating season. Requirements: Prior experience in property maintenance or similar role. Skilled in basic trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry). Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative. Comfortable working outdoors and in all weather conditions.
