Guest Services Representative (Part-time Seasonal) Winter 2025/26) 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars 3300 East Alta Ski Hill Road, Alta, WY 83414 SUMMARY While working in the Activity Center you get the opportunity to work directly with our guests as well as with other departments. You'll work with our guests to make activity reservations, provide resort information, and get people excited about coming to the mountain. Activity Center staff also assists our guests in purchasing season passes, lift tickets, and other great products. You'll have an active role in all resort activities and amenities. Our number one goal is delivering phenomenal guest service! Must be able to commit to 5 days per week, hours of availability must be flexible. Will be required to work some weekends, holidays and evening shifts. Prior guest service experience required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Ticket, pass, and activity sales 2. Reservations for all resort activities and some offsite activities 3. Checking guests in for their reserved activities 4. Customer service/solving guest problems 5. Maintaining extensive knowledge of resort activities/information 6. Cross selling other resort products 7. Provide resort and area information to visiting guests 8. Balancing POS system 9. Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required. 10. Must commit to 5 days per week, hours of availability must be flexible. Will be required to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts. RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY 1. Protect the safety of self-workers and Grand Targhee Resort guests. 2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. 3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. 4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures. 5. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury to yourself or others. 6. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This role has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Recent experience is a must. (Prefer experience with sales/databases, Word, and Excel) 2. Customer Service/Guest Relations- We serve a high volume of customers each day, excellent customer services skills are required. 3. Cash Handling Experience 4. Problem Solving EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school Diploma. Guest service experience. Familiar and comfortable on a computer. LANGUAGE SKILLS Good communication skills. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
