DESCRIPTION

St. Timothy's Catholic School in Maple Lake, Minnesota is now accepting applications for a part-time Assistant Cook for the 2025-2026 school year. This person will provide loving service and care school for our school lunch program preschool-8th grade.

We are a Catholic School supported by a vibrant community of families who are committed to Catholic identity, academic excellence, character development, and spiritual formation.

.2 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) 10 hours per week (two days). Work days and scheduled hours to be determined based upon program needs.

To assist in providing each child and adult with a meal of high nutritious quality in an atmosphere of cleanliness, cheerfulness, and personal caring. The Assistant Cook works under the direction of the Head Cook and school principal and in accordance with state and federal guidelines, the school/parish mission statement, philosophy, policies, handbooks, and directions established by the principal and/or pastor.

Maintain clean, sanitary and organized kitchen, storage, and lunchroom facilities

Dishwashing: plates, utensils, pots, pans, etc.

Cleaning lunchroom tables and dry mop/spot wet mop floor in gym.

Additional duties as directed by the Head Cook.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate needs to be able to work with a team to provide a positive environment and complete the tasks assigned in an efficient and thorough manner. Candidate needs to be able to conduct some lifting and will need to pass a physical.
