Key Responsibilities of a Healthcare Dietary Aide:

Help residents understand their menu selections in compliance with their dietary requirements/restrictions

Collaborate with culinary team and healthcare staff to select alternate menu items for residents with food allergies/sensitivities while also considering religious or cultural preferences

Accurately plate and deliver food trays to the healthcare residents and assist as needed

Serve meals in the dining room and assist with delivery of food carts to all areas of the Community

Bus, clean, and set up dining room or stations as necessary

Comply with ALL regulatory agency standards

Comply with all HIPPA policies

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED, 18 years of age

Minimum one year of serving experience in a restaurant or healthcare setting (healthcare serving experience preferred) (serve safe certification preferred)

Comfortable with using tablets or touchscreen system while serving or delivering food

Comfortable with using and serving modified diets such as puree, mechanical soft, etc.

Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Able to stand for the entire shift and enable to lift up to 50 lbs.
