Position Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, while maintaining a clean andanized bar environment. This position requires a strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation, along with a genuine passion for customer service.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional guest service by preparing and serving beverages according to Hyatt standards

Maintain knowledge of bar menu offerings and seasonal cocktails

Interact with guests in a positive and engaging manner

Maintain cleanliness andanization of the bar, ensuringpliance with safety and sanitation standards

Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service

Handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions accurately

Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

Assist in restocking inventory andpleting daily opening and closing duties

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old

Prior bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale bar/restaurant setting preferred

Knowledge of beverage service techniques, drink recipes, and responsible alcohol service

Must possess or be able to obtain a Washoe County Alcohol Awareness Card and Food Handler's Card

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for hospitality
