Description

The Residence Inn near Universal is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and motivated individual for the position of Part Time Front Desk Agent at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. This candidate should demonstrate excellentanizational nication skills, and a strong proficiency in multi-tasking. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Scheduled hours will vary weekly between Monday-Sunday. Evening shift, weekends, and holidays are required.

The responsibilities of the Front Desk Agent include, but are not limited to:

Register and assign rooms to guests.

Issue room key and escort instructions directly to guest.

Assist the Sales Department as needed.

Sort, and track iing mail and messages.

Transmit and receive messages using allmunication avenues.

Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.

Keep record of room availability and rate.

Compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests.

Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via allmunication avenues.

Post charges such as room, food and marketplace.

Ability to accurately use various office software.

Have a full working knowledge and expertise of each shift, including night audit.

Requirements

Must have aprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectivelymunicate with guests, associates, and vendors.

Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

Standing for loing periods of time

Must be flexible with schedule and adjust to business needs.

Must have aprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
