In these front-line roles at the Council, it's not just about customer service, it's about the customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, when they enter our facilities. Our centres are busy and high-pressure environments where no two days are the same.
We now have casual opportunities available at three of our facilities.
About the role | Ko te mahi nei
Day to day duties include:
Welcoming customers with a friendly attitude.
Assisting with customer enquiries: Answer questions, provide information about memberships and products.
Processing transactions for retail and/or memberships
Collaborating with colleagues and wider team: to ensure a smooth and efficient customer service experience.
As someone who has a genuine love for people and is solutions-focused - you'll deliver high-quality information and services to maximize our customer experience.
About you | Ko Koe Tenei
Ideally, you will have gained your customer service experience from working in retail and/or hospitality; you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to think on your feet!
Have excellent literacy and computer skills, as well as good verbal communication and time management
Be highly personable with a positive attitude.
It is preferable you will hold a current Workplace First Aid Certificate.
