HOUSEKEEPER (SUPPORT TEAM WORKER) - Full-Time

The Barron Center is a 219-bed long-term care facility with an excellent reputation for a caring, creative work environment.
Our Housekeeping staff play an important role in making this a clean, welcoming place and we currently have an opening for a new team member.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Damp dusting of furniture, window and wall washing.
dry/wet mopping, vacuuming.
trash removal.
bathroom cleaning.
Required Skills & Experience:
Ability to follow oral and simple written instructions.
Ability to reach, grasp, stoop and lift/push/pull/move moderate to heavy amounts.
Ability to meet and deal courteously and appropriately with residents, staff and the public in a long-term care facility.
Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory pre-employment physical exam.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- High school graduate and some work-related experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Hours/Schedule:
This is a full time (37.5 hours) position working Friday-Tuesday 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM.
Includes weekends & holidays.
Weekend shift differential of $2 per hour.

Salary & Benefits:
This is a union position, CEBA Grade 1M, $18.72 - $21.78 per hour to start, depending on experience.
