Responsibilities Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure positive guest relations. Qualifications Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with Toast POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is preferred. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and relations.
