Job DetailsMajor Food Group is hiring Back Servers to join our team at Contessa in Miami's Design District!
Contessa , inspired by the old-world resorts and the lasting estates of Italy, features cuisine embodying the effortless elegance of the Trattorias of Northern Italy. Offering all-day dining with breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner and perfectly crafted cocktails, the menus showcase a range of selections from imported salumi and house made fresh pasta to dry aged Chianina Beef.RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Attend daily pre-meal tasting
- Ensure friendly greeting to all guests
- Set-up station and tables prior to service
- Assist in clearing and set-up of tables during service
- Ensures tableware is clean and in place
- Completes side duties
- Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware, serving equipment and service areas (front and back of house)
- Maintain positive communication with service personnel
REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum 2 year of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
- Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 50 lbs.
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills a must
