Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Kitchen open daily from 11:00 AM 1:30 AM; some late nights required

Mothers Ruin Chicago is a lively, fast-paced bar and kitchen known for elevated pub fare, great drinks, and good vibes. Were part of a small family of bars with a strong team culture and a focus on quality, consistency, and fun. Were looking for a full-time Line Cook who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a busy kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Execute menu items accurately and efficiently during service
Set up, stock, and maintain a clean, organized workstation
Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Work collaboratively with fellow cooks, prep team, and FOH staff
Assist with prep, restocking, and closing duties as needed
Be comfortable working late shiftskitchen closes at 1:30 AM
Requirements:
Prior experience on the line or in a high-volume kitchen preferred
Solid knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Flexible schedule with availability for nights and weekends
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
