Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Catering Runner to join our EverBank Stadium team in Jacksonville, Florida. Our Busser and Runner team are outgoing, guest oriented team members that contribute to the success of events like luncheons, weddings, proms, business meetings, and other functions. What will you do?
Set tables and buffet areas for service
Accommodate all guests and addresses inquiries
Replenish buffet food, refill beverages, remove dirty dishes from tables
Transport food and beverages to assigned locations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
Assist in additional tasks to help facilitate a smooth and efficient service
Perform other duties as assigned
More about you
18 years or older
Customer service oriented, positive attitude, an openness to learn, and desire to contribute to a team
Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced environment
Very organized with a strong attention to detail and effective communication
Available for part-time, on-call events, stadium and Daily's Place events that include nights, weekends, and holidays
No high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirements
Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 pounds
Adaptability to work in variable conditions, including hot kitchen environments and climate-controlled dining areas
