Job Details Dry Storage Bakehouse of Id Est Hospitality is seeking talented line cooks to join our culinary team! At Dry Storage Bakehouse, you will have an opportunity to contribute to our culinary program while honing your skills as a professional chef. Our culinary ethos embraces principles of zero waste, in-house preservation, including fermentation, and supporting local agriculture. We utilize house-milled heritage grains procured by our mill, Dry Storage Mill. Join our team of talented culinary professionals and take your career to the next level! One year plus of prior culinary experience is preferred to be considered for this role. - Prep ingredients, sauces, and dish components in accordance with established recipes
- Adhere to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation while following food safety regulations
- Follow storage and rotation guidelines to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Enforce proper food handling, storage, and labeling practices to prevent foodborne illnesses
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years prior culinary experience
- Basic kitchen knowledge, including knife skills, basic cooking techniques, safe food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time and comfortably lift 50 lbs
- Open availability - must have daytime and weekend availability

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $26.00)
