This position will be dual-trained as both an Airport Customer Service Representative and a Line Technician, and is expected to fill in where needed, sometimes with limited advanced notice.
Airport FBO hours are 7:00 am-7:00 pm daily. This position would be expected to work anytime during those hours, and on occasion, may be required to work outside of those hours.

- Greets customers and ensures their comfort as they come into the FBO
- Assists in taking care of customer and pilot needs
- Accepts customer requests for service
- Answers customer telephone calls, in person questions and refers to appropriate personnel
- Processes payments and invoices
- Operates and maintains cash drawer, balances receipts daily
- Performs daily runway inspections, verifying lights, signs, and markers are visible and functioning correctly, removing any debris as needed
- Moves planes in and out of hangars and fuels planes as directed by the pilot
- Directs aircraft to the proper parking area and secures aircraft
- Accepts service orders from pilots and/or customers and communicates with the customer service desk
- Ability to operate a two-way radio in order to communicate with the ATC Tower and Airport personnel
- Fuels aircraft and provides GPU, lavatory, and other ground services as needed
- Performs safety inspections to include, but not limited to, fuel farms, mobile fuel tricks and hangars
- Reports any incident involving accidents, aircraft damage, or security breach and FAA incursions immediately to airport management and helps with an investigation as needed
- Maintains and cleans FBO facility and hangars, including but not limited to entrance ways, floors, bathrooms and breakrooms
- Work with the maintenance team to help maintain the airport buildings and grounds
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of department and city policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of billing and collection procedures.
- Skilled in the operation of computers and other standard office equipment.
- Skilled in planning, organization, and decision making.
- Skilled in oral and written communication.
- Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work on a team to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Ability to safely perform fueling tasks.
- Ability to safely operate airport equipment, including but not limited to mobile fueling trucks, GPU, tugs, tow bars, golf carts, and forklifts.
- Ability to follow instructions for safe and authorized movement on the runway and all taxiways, and airport property.
- Ability to prioritize work and time management.
- Must be able to frequently/repeatedly stand, walk, use hands, and exert force needed to handle various types and sizes of tools, equipment, and objects. Reach with hands and arms and perform elevated work for periods; climb ladders and balance; climb into vehicles and equipment; stoop; kneel; half-kneel; squat; crouch; or crawl; and talk or hear. The ability to navigate oneself throughout the various areas of the airport in a safe manner.
- Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, and/or move more than 100 lbs.
- Must be able to successfully pass a "Functional Prework Screen" administered by a professional and impartial third-party specialist.
- The position has been identified as safety sensitive. The employee in this position will be part of a random drug testing pool.
Work Environment
- The work in this position is typically performed in an office, hangar, and outdoors. The employee is exposed to noise, dust, dirt, grease, machinery with moving parts, irritating chemicals, and inclement weather. The work requires the use of PPE, such as masks, goggles, or gloves.
