Counter Server/Barista

We're looking for a counter server at Verbena, a neighborhood cafe that makes food and beverages from scratch. We have a great group of regulars and are looking for people who love working with the public.

Duties include: Taking orders using Toast POS, creating handmade espresso drinks and beverages, running food to tables, and helping the team with shop cleanliness including some dishes.

This position is best geared towards people who enjoy building relationships with the public, are able to stay calm and communicate clearly when busy, and enjoy a fast pace while working with a small team.
Shifts are Wednesday through Friday 9:30-4:30/5 and Saturday 8:30-4:30/5 for a total of 30 +/- hours. Applicants must be available on the specified days. $12.00 per hour plus tips with a guaranteed minimum of $23.00/hour
