Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining traditional mechanical systems such as cams, drives, belt, and sheaves drive systems. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical systems up to 480v and troubleshoot PLCs. Your role will involve monitoring lines for any preventative maintenance needs and ensuring work orders are efficiently processed. You will also create plans to repair defects before failure and troubleshoot or repair any mechanical or electrical failures on the line. Maintaining records of equipment performance, necessary repairs, and downtime via SAP work requests will be a key aspect of the role.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair and maintain traditional mechanical systems including cams, drives, belt, and sheaves drive systems.
+ Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical systems up to 480v.
+ Troubleshoot PLCs.
+ Monitor lines for preventative maintenance needs and process work orders.
+ Create plans to repair defects prior to failure.
+ Troubleshoot or repair any mechanical or electrical failures on the line.
+ Maintain records of equipment performance, necessary repairs, and downtime via SAP work requests.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in industrial maintenance.
+ Experience in PLC troubleshooting.
+ Knowledge of electrical systems.
+ Welding and machining skills.
+ Ammonia refrigeration expertise.
+ Proficiency in PLC Ladder Logic.
+ 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with welding techniques such as acetylene, plasma cutting, Heli arc, and stick welding.
+ Routine machining and parts fabrication or repair.

**Work Environment**
The work schedule includes 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am, with opportunities for 8-hour shifts once fully staffed. Uniforms and work boots are provided, along with a tool allowance.
