Position: Line Cook

Eagle Trace is a semi-private golf and country club known for providing exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests. We pride ourselves on a fresh, high-quality menu, elegant presentations, and a positive kitchen culture. We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes in accordance with club recipes and standards. This role requires a team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for food preparation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and plating standards
- Work assigned station(s) during service (grill, saute, fry, salad, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, kitchen equipment, and tools
- Assist in daily prep work and stocking of stations
- Follow food safety regulations and club kitchen procedures
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with fellow cooks and kitchen staff
- Assist with banquet prep, special events, and off-menu requests as needed
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen preferred (country club or upscale dining a plus)
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety practices
- Able to follow directions and work quickly and independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time ( up to 5 hours) and lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and professional appearance
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Must pass a background check
